This week week is a battle of the brunch spots. We took a trip to Marietta, Ga to see who has the best brunch spot in Cobb. First stop was Phyllis a brunch spot that went viral on Instagram. Located near Kennestone Hospital this restaurant brings a unique take on southern comfort food. equipped with his mothers recipes Chris Foster is the owner of Phyllis. “It was always my mothers dream to have a restaurant all the recipes you see on the menu are from her cookbook that she would keep in out kitchen. Making her dream come to life has always been a mission of mine. I’m happy to make it a reality.”

This week I had the pleasure of having there Hot Catfish on a Toasted Croissant, A large order of grits, Cornbread for a total of $53.70

The Marietta Local located in Marietta Square this cozy restaurant makes you feel right a home. Specializing in southern comfort food this restaurant treats every guest like a regular. The Marietta Local has been open for a decade and is a bringing joy and fully bellies to the Marietta community.

I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Breakfast, the Stone Ground Cheese Grits, and a dulce de leche latte with oat milk. For a total of $22.36
